I got a notice on my phone about Stubblefield being fired and within 5 minutes got another notice saying Cephus committed.

And what "firing spree" are you talking about? He got got rid of Limegrover and a couple years later we have a real offensive line. Got rid of Ciarroca and hired Yurcich, which seems to have worked out in PSU's advantage. I'm thinking Franklin has a bit more on the ball than you do.
