See Link. The good far outweighs the bad in a limited sample size. Couple things stand out. 1. It's amazing to think back and recall how lost and overwhelmed Allar seemed in last year's Blue-White game...his growth from April to Sept. was huge, and is a positive sign on how quickly he can fix mistakes and grow into the position. 2. As a true freshman, he had better pocket presence and kept his eyes downfield better than Clifford did as a sixth-year senior and 4-year starter.

What snaps I’ve seen him get I’m feeling pretty good about this kid but the Joe Paterno takes over in ole southern meaning I never want to see a true Freshman QB start because usually you’ll lose more games. I thought James Franklin handled the QB’s last year just about as good as you can get. Like I’ve said, I’m not ready to just give the job to Allar if Pribula can make some noise all we can hope for is the best players play that give us the best chance to win. If Pribula is a running threat then I definitely want to see some wildcat plays in short yardage especially with the RB’s we’ve got because the defense will never know who’s going to get the ball. I’m feels pretty dang good about the season baby
