Four days later, and I still can't figure out the proper coach vs. player blame ratio attached to Roberson's performance. He didn't look prepared at all...but at the same time, the scheme provided open throws that he simply couldn't hit. So IDK...but these are always a good watch, so here you go.

It is the players responsibility to be prepared to play...If the player is missing wide open WR's as was the case in that ballgame then it isn't on the coaching staff but on the player to execute...Executing the play is on the player...

I also want to add that the TE's dropped a couple of passes in crucial situations as well...That loss on Saturday wasn't a coaching problem in my opinion...The coaches job is to put players in a position to succeed and there was plenty of opportunities for these players to succeed and they just failed to execute and that is on the player...

FD & BT, will you two please stop sing common sense and sound logic to access the game on Saturday??

We lost. Franklin has to go. Anything else doesn't fit the narrative!!

Note the sarcasm.

Thing of it is FD, had we known if TR had the ability as the inexperienced RS sophomore to suddenly walk in to a super hostile environement and perfectly execute plays with starters he little to no snaps with, he would have been the starter. I think it a little unfair to totally unload on TR or the coaches.

Honestly I am not unloading on any of them...The kid was inserted into a tough spot but he is the backup football player on a top 5 team...He needs to assume that he is going to play in every game and prepare himself accordingly...I don't think his problem was a lack of preparedness or poor coaching but a lack of execution by the players...He missed some throws and the TE's missed some balls they should have caught...The OLine play didn't help him either and this was a game where the lack of a running game came back to haunt them...There is never a simple solution to these things...In this case there were many factors but the bottom line is if Clifford don't get hurt Penn State wins this ballgame by 3 TD's...
