IDK, this seems like another Levis stretch. Not sure what people are looking at to draft Allar in the 3rd round. It's like some HCs or scouts just con themselves into thinking "I can fix him" when they see the prototype frame and big arm.
I do wish him luck though
I am happy he got drafted in the 3rd round which is a lot sooner than anybody thought but his problems can't be fixed...They aren't physical problems...He doesn't possess the ability to process coverages and go through his progressions as quickly as is necessary...He also doesn't have the "it" factor and you either are born with that or you aren't and he unfortunately wasn't born with it...He seems like a nice enough kid but he is going to be a bust...The Steelers wasted a pick in my opinion...
Surprised Singleton got drafted ahead of Allen. If he participated in it Kaytron must not have looked good at the combine.
Kaytron is going to fit in and do well in Washington...
@the-funeral-director I agree FD Washington is a good fit for KA.
of course you gotta have the talent which both singleton and KA do and singleton is faster and he probably looked better at the combine. IMO Tony Hunt was just as good as either one in college but a RB has to have that little extra speed and KA might not have that like Tony Hunt didn’t. Both are good enough to spend some time in the NFL because both have and had great vision. The NFL is a different breed than college you gotta be able to do certain things great to make it big.KA needs the right team and imo Washington is just that for him.
Personally I think both of them were underrated as far as their valuations were concerned for this draft...Both of them were great values where they were selected and I believe both of them will have very good pro careers barring injury...KA is one of the best short yardage backs I have ever seen at the collegiate level...He always seems to fall forward...He is a tough hard nosed back...Singleton if used properly will be very successful as well...
I didn't watch the video but the headline itself is an indictment on the coaching staff...You have a 5* 3 year starting QB and you don't have your offensive system tailored around his strengths? Seriously? and a coach on that staff does a video ADMITTING such stupidity? And you wonder why no high profile QB's want to go there? And these guys are Division 1 college football coaches at a premier program?...They don't even qualify to coach a pee wee league team...
