I think the importance of playing the second guy with some meaningful time is to see what you got going into the next play, next week, next year. Realtime game experiences exposes a lot of what is not seen in practice, namely: what's between the ears, mechanics on the run, intuition or lack there of... And sometimes, I guy can be half ass in practice and excel during game time, although that would be less often.
@psu61 the only time we seen Pribula in meaningful playing time throwing the football is when DA got hurt and we won both games and imo we would’ve lost both games has Pribula didn’t come in. James Franklin ain’t going to give another QB a chance that’s why we’ve had a few good ones to jump ship.

Normally RIP I don’t want to see the backup QB because the guy that starts is better. Ga tech has 2 damn good QB’s but unless King is banged up I don’t want to see Philo in the game unless it’s mop up duty. I’m not a fan that just hollers for the backup and I don’t believe bringing in the backups unless we are curb stomping the other team I actually like running up the score because teams won’t come back if you do. Score a 100 if you can is my motto.
