Wow that just shook up the top ten and BIG!
I tried to tell everybody they ain’t all that lol. If we send a team like Wisconsin to the playoffs they’ll get a beat down just like Michigan State did.
I must admit, after talking with Southern a bit I did wonder if I was overestimating Wisconsin. Have to say he was right.
After looking back at the way they played again Northwestern, it left me doubting that they were truly a great team. That was a close game against a very poor team. I didn't think they'd lose to Illinois, but I also didn't think they posed a threat to OSU.
Surprising... but also not so much.
This is why College Football is great!
And MD is losing by 10 to Indiana. Two Basketball schools.
Wisconsin is still slow. Statistically it is hard to win when you run the ball constantly and only average 5 yards per carry. The averages get you ... actually it is the standard deviation.
Probably won’t be the only surprise is the Big 10 this year but I doubt there will be any more “mistakes” in the Southeastern Football Conference after what happened to Georgia last week or the Big 12 since they have learned from the Southeastern Football Conference.

Wisconsin is still a very good football team. Keeping your edge and playing great each and every game is difficult to do. A bounce or two goes the wrong way, the refs do everything in their power to make you lose (O'Neil anyone??? ) any great time can get beat. Yes it affects rankings and so on, but they are still a very good team.
