I gave up watching the super bowl quite a few years ago! I enjoy watching a football game, not a procession of endless commercials and a half time tribute to the "beautiful people". Anyway, glad Andy won and Robbie is still kickin'!
How about the political BS with the kids in the cages in protest to Trumps treatment of illegals at the boarder. I don't recall them doing that in other Superbowl's when other presidents started the practice.

The Super Bowl half time show gets weirder every year which is why I never watch it and never will unless they bring back pre 1980 Rolling Stones or resurrect Tom Petty ( and that would be really weird). Also since I had no skin in this game, I switched to HBO at 9 to watch the Outsider.
I remember Tom Petty doing the half time show a few years ago and it was Great Lake. KISS and Tom Petty was my favorite half time shows. Slash and Fergi was pretty good to.
U2 is still my favorite halftime show. The way they honored the victims of 9/11 was perfect IMO, it was done with respect and class. I remember watching as the names of those who died were going up the screen and it was an emotional experience. Definitely memorable for me.

Let me further what I was attempting to say when I started this thread. This is America's Game (Sorry Baseball), biggest sporting event on the planet. They sing God Bless America, National Anthem of America, Huge honor and support for this country's Military, so in my mind, the half-time entertainment should be American performers. Now if the same content was provided by American performers, there should still be concern from having adult themed performances to a supposedly "family" audience.

They sing God Bless America, National Anthem of America, Huge honor and support for this country's Military, so in my mind, the half-time entertainment should be American performers. I just laugh when people call our presidents dumb. Most of ‘em are millionaires and have graduated from big time universities and somehow they are dumb and it comes from both sides lol. Well Roam, just have to say it, I was wrong - I knew she grew up in the Bronx but thought she was born in Puerto Rico - and yada yada yada about it being a territory of the US. I was wrong and I admit it. Still didn't like the performance and just learned today that Shakira is 43 !!! I knew J-Lo was 50 and looking good for her age, but I assumed Shakira to be around 30ish. So kudos to both ladies for keeping up and staying in great shape. But I long for some classic American Rock bands to be featured again during the halftime show.
This was the best halftime PERFORMANCE.
I watched every disgusting, sex filled, thrust and humping minute of that show three times now. I'd of watched it a fourth time put i ran out of dollar bills to throw at the TV.
I was always told by my mother that watching stuff like that would turn me to stone. She was right. I started getting hard about 4 minutes into the show.
