What's your favorite deceptive tactic used by the offense in 2025?   Some of those I have noted are:

1.  Throwing the ball behind the line of scrimmage when 9 defensive players are within 4 yards of the line of scrimmage.

2.  Overloading the short-side of the field and then running the speed-back into the malee.

3.  Refusing to throw the ball deep

4.  Using formations that encourage defensive weighting in the center of the line and then sending your speed back up the middle, where most of the defenders are waiting

5.  Getting all 11 defensive players within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage and then handing the ball off in the backfield or throwing a 3-yard slant

These tactics are obviously designed to deceive and confuse the defense ......... because why would you set yourself up for failure.

Deceptive?  I've been deceived.

Establishing the run?

4* Pro Style QB that doesn't throw more than 10 yards?

I can't enjoy life, it is on Peacock and I will not give NBC a cent that doesn't come from my general service.

I just hope they start Smolik at QB today. By the logic on this site, he has to be better then Grunkemyer. Grunkemyer is the worng style QB for this offense.

Being neither has had much playing time maybe Smolick deserves a series or two...

We had 3 practice games to start and now we are playing to go 500 and go to the Pin Stripe Bowl where maybe we get to play a Southern Team that doesn't want to be there and we can see who all 'opts out'.  Or maybe all the rest are practice games.  Going under 500 is a very real possibility.  Maybe we can upset the apple cart by beating a big boy.  What a season, IU is #3 and We Are unranked or going to be.

Maybe we can find a young LB and QB?
