With all the bowl games I started a new tread and put the article here. It’s pretty good.
My grandson has a big wrestling tournament today in Gadsden, Al so y’all please keep me up to date on the score. Man we have a lot of fun watching that little chump wrestle 😂 win or lose it’s fun baby. Let’s go Penn St football

@navylion well things got changed up. My son-in-law said there’s was no seating so we’re watching the other grandson so my daughter can go Wyatt is a little under the weather. My back can’t handle just standing all day so things worked out. We’d rather my daughter be there and watch. That little chump is 15-3 navy. He’s finished 4th, 2nd and then1st in 3 tournaments. I’ll keep ya posted buddy.

@rip my grandson finished 4th and Penn St won but the jackets stunk it up on offense and it beat ‘em. It was still an awesome day for ole southern. Every day is an awesome day for me I’m a blessed man baby 😁
Congrats on your grandson's finish! You should be very proud with that young man. Too bad about your Jackets. I'm happy our Lions came through with a convincing win. I really appreciate DDS and all the young men who opted in! Those are the things that make me Penn State proud!

When the on field lady had the soft question of Key at halftime 'What do you want to see your QB do in the second half?' It seemed about 10 things went thru his mind before he answered 'I want him to be him'
- What a stupid question, I see what they hired you for...Can't say that
- You are supposed to ask me about what the team needs to do in the second half and I give three of the standard 10 options.
- I want him to throw for 300 yards and 4TD's...sarcasm, probably not good
- I want him to end with more points than Utah...that may work.

Make sure he's having fun wrestling. Too many coaches stress wins and losses at that age when they should be focusing on teaching moves. I'd encourage your grandson to perfect a few moves at a time, even if its 3 moves a season, it'll become a reflex in his muscle memory. I'd suggest he learn and hone a move from the top, bottom, and on his feet. Tell him to practice them till they become 2nd nature. Get him to a camp this summer but make sure the camp stresses having fun. Too many kids his age burnout because of the pressure applied by parents and coaches.
Win or lose, always,always,always have something positive to say about how he did.

Enjoy the ride grandpa. I can tell you first hand that nothing beats seeing your dad and grandparents in the stand. They were my biggest supporters. My grandfathers were always there to pick me up after a tough loss. That will be the role you play in all of this. Win or lose, let your grandson know you have his back!!
TCU beats USC 😂 I don’t know how Lincoln Riley keeps his job thank Goodness we got MC and not Lincoln Riley we dodged one there if Penn St was actually trying to get him.
Announcers loved Riley, top recruiting class, offensive genius etc etc. I was not 100% watching but I didn't hear that D'Anton was leaving or any real opinion on the defense.
IMO the USC defense was unimpressive.
I thought the problem wasn't the defense...Turnovers in the redzone and the defense did a fairly good job defending TCU...TCU scores points...They lost that game on the final drive when it was 3rd and 6 and they tried to hit a deep ball instead of playing for the 1st down...TCU has a very good offense...At that point in the game you don't give TCU the ball back...Lynn is a great hire and Penn State is fortunate to bring that dude in...He is a Penn Stater and his resume' is stellar...I can't say enough good things about this guy Campbell so far...He gets it and is doing a hell of a job so far bringing in staff...When this portal opens you watch and see how many top players they get...I am excited...
I don't think he brings in the kid from Iowa State...I can tell ya that I watched a lot of his games and he isn't as good as Grunk and Grunk has a much higher ceiling than the kid from Iowa State has...This kid Grunk is going to be a star...

They were over 100 rated defense befire Lynn took over and in 2 years he got them in the 40s. Comment wasn't really a comment about D'Anton. I just thought the USC Defense was average which is about what I hear they were ranked. I really expected USC to win but they choked in OT.
