He's good. I have faith in him.
LSU is stacked with NFL guys all over the field. We’re headed that way just another year or 2 and we’ll be stacked.
When Burrow was a sophomore he was the third-stringer on Ohio State, he's now a senior. Clifford will be much better next year, and we will have a much better running game next year as well

Please mark this b/c as much as I want to see it, I don't think so do to coaching, and if no change in coaching there will be no change in current output.
Psu61, we’re 9-2 in a rebuilding year it’s not like we’re gettin killed either. We’ve lost 2 road game against 1 top 5 team. The Minnesota game was a bad loss but then games happen to all teams. Georgia lost to SCAR at home. It’s frustrating losing but the team is right where we thought they would be better than what the so called experts thought because they had us losing 4 games. Look at Texas 6-4 lol

I mean seriously Southern, did you just compare a bad loss to South Carolina to a "bad loss" to #9 Minnesota?
Wtf?
No I was just saying Georgia had a worse loss because it was at home to an unranked team but we both know the Minnesota game was a bad loss just not SCAR bad.

Minnesota is a game we should have won, but it wasn't a bad loss. The only way Minnesota would qualify as a bad loss is if you don't believe their ranking
That’s fair. I just thought the team was flat and coming off a bye they should’ve been rested and ready to play. Like I said, these games happen to all teams not just penn st
That’s fair
How about Virginia Tech? I told you they just had a few down years and they would be back, I think they're going beat Virginia and play Clemson for the title.
Also, they're going to be preseason ranked next year so that's going to be a good out of conference game for us.
If there is a change it might be DB and OL... Franklin is not pulling the trigger to fire a young talented OC.
I don’t think Franklin needs to make any changes we just need to keep gettin better. We lost a lot of studs from last years team. I still believe on defense Kevin givens was the biggest loss but miller time was big too. Lot of new faces this year and we’re 9-2 looking at 10-2 maybe 11-2 after the bowl game.

I don't think the DB coach is getting fired because he is a good recruiter... though he may shift to another role. As for the OL coach, no way he is getting fired IMO.
I know fans like to constantly say our line is awful but they really aren't. IMO they have gotten better every year, it is just they were so terrible when Franklin got here. I don't see him firing Limegrover, especially when the offense line was honored midyear as one of the better units in the country.
I'm fine with Franklin, Pry & Limegrover. Someone over on PennLive described Rahne as "OC in training". I'm not saying fire him, but I really don't know if he will get any better. I guess give him another year and if there is no improvement in schemes and play calling, then fire his arse. Darn, I wish we had JoMo back!
My issues with the OL is this team is well entrenched in a RPO blocking scheme but not really getting better at it. I don't believe Limegrover came from an RPO blocking scheme so would having a OL coach that is used to it a better option. Other issue is what looks to be a lack of killer instinct but that could be related to my first reason.
The drop by #4 was a killer it would’ve tied the game up and put more pressure on Ohio st. Bottom line is we’ve got to catch the dang ball especially in crunch time and we just ain’t gettin it done. We had 6 or 7 more drops today and these drops have killed us. Catch the dang football and the OL is looking a lot better. You can’t move the chains dropping the ball.
OSU had 1 drop I remember. Maybe 2.
So winning, being in the Top 10 and just on the outside of the top four and PSU needs a new OC...
I didn't say that! Like I said in my post...."give him another year and if there is no improvement in schemes and play calling, then fire his arse."
Yeah I read that and you saying it again still did not make any sense.
The guy is in his second year of being an OC and the team is doing just as well or better with him as it did with JoeMo. If the team keeps winning and no one snatches him away Rahne will be the OC.

You don't need to agree with me, just don't say I said something I didn't say. I hope Rahne improves next year for the sake of the team.
In regards to the O'line, I haven't seen a player yet in the past ~5 years or so who has stepped up and played smash mouth football, not one, and as Matt Millen used to say, you gotta have some big nasties on your line.. In regards to Limegrover, if he can't coach RPO, better change your scheme or get a different coach; I mean not every coach can coach every scheme that's the reason that some coaches don't succeed and that doesn't make them a bad coach just not a good fit. In regards to the D'line, do you think the D'line has been as consistently as good as when Johnson was the coach including the caliber of recruit?

Two of our linemen from last year are on NFL rosters... I think it's safe to say they obviously must have seen something in them.
