First half went the way most thought, with ND's offense and Ian Book struggling. ND's defense keeping them in the game, but a few big plays has Clemson up.
Not surprising considering the best defenses Ian Book saw all year was USC & Stanford at #59 & #75 respectively. Clemson is a whole different animal.
Why should ND ever be taken seriously again? The last couple times they've made it to the championship game or playoffs they've been totally embarrassed and proven they don't belong.
Play in a conference, win it's championship game and you earn your way in. Don't play in a conference? Well then you're not eligible.

ND should have been forced to play this game a few weeks ago as a participant of the ACC for their title game. We could have eliminated them from relevance then. What a joke. When is the national media and ND honers going to admit they are irrelevant most every year. They had a ridiculously weak schedule this year and stole a playoff spot they didn’t deserve. Glad they got their ears kicked in.
This game was a joke lol. ND just doesn’t have the athletes to compete in the playoffs. Don’t mean they can’t win some big games during the season but when it’s nitty gritty time they can’t hold up, it’s that simple.
Funny thing Southern. ND routinely has very highly ranked recruiting classes. So, either the class rankings are inflated because it’s ND or Brian Kelly underachieves with the athletes he gets. I’ll let you guys figure it out. Maybe a good debate topic.
They rack up on good offensive players but on defense they do average at best
They go through defensive coordinators like the Browns have gone through QBs. Maybe Kelly is just too insufferable to work with? And Kelly changes QBs every time the wind blows. I can’t understand how any QB would want to play for him? Urban Meyer will replace him when ND has had enough.
