Have you noticed their attendance? Too bad we can't and will not see that in the B1G. I believe they allow 20k fans.
FT. Let it go. 2020 is different. We knew that from the start. We didn’t think there would be a season and there is. If you want to mingle with 20,000 of your closest friends, hop on a plane, fly down to SC and go to a Clemson game during a pandemic. Or Bama. Or any southern school. They probably still think it’a a hoax despite their teams and coaches getting sick and the numbers going through the roof right now. They probably think we’re “rounding the curve” and it is just going “disappear”. I wonder where they heard that bullshit?
Remember a few weeks ago when Dan Mullen called for The Swamp to be packed with fans for a Florida home game? Then, before the game even happened, they had to cancel it because a bunch of FL players got sick. Mullen ended up looking pretty silly.
Didn't Clemson lose because their quarterback and a bunch of their defensive starters got sick?
Yes, and their coach still doesn’t understand or follow the mask protocol. Yesterday he would take the mask down to get in the face of his players or yell at them in the huddle then when he walked away from them he would put it back on again.
@roaminglion That is wrong, let's get the facts right Clemson had an outbreak in the summer, but it was widely reported when the QB , Lawrence was out for BC, he was the only player affected, then when he was declared out for ND, the waiting period of 10 days plus 1 for testing was not met, so again, only player affected by COVID-19..You can google this..
True Clemson had a couple defensive players out due to injury, but that's part of the game and true to most teams every saturday..Just this past week ND had two starting OL down vs UNC, just a week after the TV crew during ND-BC, had said a big part of ND's success was that the OL had been totally intact for every snap.while game was still competitive...those two losses included its stalwart center, such loss showed last friday with some bad snaps..But you cant alibi injuries, part of the game..
And Clemson's back up 5 star QB led them back from 28-10 deficit, to a victory vs BC, then followed that up with 439 yards vs ND, A ND opponent record..

Thanks for that, I didn't follow it and did not know the defensive starters were injured.
