Unless Oregon mounts a huge comeback, Cincinnati is going to be in the playoff if they win out. The Ducks are down 28-0 to Utah at halftime.
I think they will get in ultimately if they win out, but I am willing to bet, assuming Oregon loses, that Michigan earned enough style points today to overtake Cinci in the rankings and still land at #5. But seeing OSU and Michigan still have to play, and I don't think the Wolverines can beat the Bucknuts, they will fall below Cinci in final rankings. If by some chance MSU does win, do you really think The OSU will fall below Cinci in the rankings even with 2 losses???? Only time will tell.
@shankalottapuss
Nah, Michigan beat up on a terrible Maryland team on the same day Cincy clobbered 8-2 SMU. I think they stay behind them. Either way it doesnt matter though, since they play OSU.
If Cincinnati wins out, and does not get in, then a Power 5 team will never get in unless the tournament is expanded.
@roaminglion does this open the door for Alabama to get in with 2 losses if they lose a close game to the dawgs? I believe it does.

Meant to say “mid major” not Power5. Oops!
I believe it does, Southern. After all, it wouldn't be the same without Slick Nick in it, lol.
I agree Southern, I believe Oklahoma State would jump above Bama should they win the Big 12.
They would have beaten two top 15 teams back to back in Oklahoma and Baylor

The don't call it the Crimson Tide Invitational for no reason!
