Alabama beats Georgia, and now we have some Chaos.
If Florida State and Michigan win, the SEC will most likely be out. Though who knows...
If Michigan and Florida State win:
- Michigan
- Washington
- Texas
- FSU (Maybe Alabama)
If Louisville wins it's:
- Michigan
- Washington
- Texas
- Alabama
If Iowa wins the Big Ten is out, No way either Michigan or OSU woukd get in ahead of Alabama and Georgia.
According to SPF Louisville isn’t a big dog so FSU gets zero credit if they win. Using his logic there’s no way FSU deserves a playoff berth.
And I’m assuming you’re joking about Iowa winning.
Not joking per se, but as a wise man once said "...so your telling me there's a chance!"According to SPF Louisville isn’t a big dog so FSU gets zero credit if they win. Using his logic there’s no way FSU deserves a playoff berth.
And I’m assuming you’re joking about Iowa winning.
Well I just started a thread...the spin has already started...No matter if FSU wins or loses they are out...They are trying to convince whoever will buy their bullshit that Texas AND Bama belong ahead of an undefeated FSU...So not only are they saying that a 1 loss conference champion should be in ahead of an unbeaten conference champ but 2 one loss conference champs belong in ahead of an undefeated power 5 conference champ...This is a farce...It always has been a farce and year after year they are exposed to be a farce...This isn't a competition this is an invitational tournament...I am seriously thinking of not watching this garbage anymore...It has become a waste of time...I want to see real competition not a rigged set up...This has always been a rigged setup but with this garbage today they have outed themselves...
There is no chaos...Michigan, Washington, FSU and Texas should be in...3 undefeated conference champs and Texas who beat the sacred cow Alabama head to head...This has been settled on the field...
@the-funeral-director FD at this time FSU hasn’t won yet and they are down to their 3rd string QB. I agree with your assessment if they win.
When the two timw undefeated champion loses, yes it is a bit of chaos. There is no chaos...Michigan, Washington, FSU and Texas should be in...3 undefeated conference champs and Texas who beat the sacred cow Alabama head to head...This has been settled on the field...
not for me...This issue was settled on the field...They got beat...It happens when you play...Somebody wins and somebody loses and on this day they lost...It's sports and it comes with competing...The chaos is that the chips aren't falling for the money guys...This is a simple thing...3 undefeated conference champs and Texas are in...The chaos is the money guys don't like this...It appears the sacred cows are going to be watching the CFP this year...
Choas in this sense means the favorites have been losing. Oregon was favored and lost. Georgia was favored and lost. Yes, that's a little chaotic.not for me...This issue was settled on the field...They got beat...It happens when you play...Somebody wins and somebody loses and on this day they lost...It's sports and it comes with competing...The chaos is that the chips aren't falling for the money guys...This is a simple thing...3 undefeated conference champs and Texas are in...The chaos is the money guys don't like this...It appears the sacred cows are going to be watching the CFP this year...
Well in that sense you are correct...I think Washington and Michigan are the 2 best teams...
I think Michigan will choke again in the semis. But I'd put them in. As I said in another post I think it will be 1 Michigan, 2 Washington, 3 Florida State and 4 Texas... 3 Texas and 4 Alabama if FSU losesWell in that sense you are correct...I think Washington and Michigan are the 2 best teams...
I am rooting for Washington...I hope they take it all...
If Bama makes it y'all know I am rooting for em... if they don't I think I'd def. like Washington to win it too.I am rooting for Washington...I hope they take it all...
Oh it's crooked...You think Ohio State loses that game against Georgia last year if they call that obvious targeting penalty on Harrison? Saying it is fixed is maybe a bad way to put it but how about saying it is "controlled"...I am beginning to believe that these aren't honest games anymore...Too much money in it...This has been bastardized to the point where I don't think there is honest competition anymore...Look at the SEC title game today...They check everything except the pass that the kid from bama didn't catch that they ruled a catch that was a key play in the game...It's amazing how 90% of the key calls always seem to favor Alabama...Game after game...
I’m pulling for the Tide but if they’re not in I’m pulling for Washington I like the QB. I don’t like Florida St and I can’t stand Texas
@the-funeral-director I thought Alabama would win because they got so much better at QB. That dang QB from Alabama is a stud.
You think ESPN made the ref no call it? Also, Georgia is a power program and historica favorite in the SEC. They are undefeated and have won the last 2 NC's... and you think the SEC was telling the refs to help Bama?Oh it's crooked...You think Ohio State loses that game against Georgia last year if they call that obvious targeting penalty on Harrison? I don’t believe the games are fixed but I do believe the CFP committee dictates on who they want in the playoffs. They could care less who the best teams are it’s who they want in. Ain’t no fudging way in 2023 we should be bottom who gets in the playoffs you should have to win a conference to get in that way everybody knows what has to be done to get in.
I dont belive that is true, because if money was driving things and TV ratings make money... they have done a terrible job.I don’t believe the games are fixed but I do believe the CFP committee dictates on who they want in the playoffs. Clemson / Alabama ratings went down with every rematch. People like new teams, not same old same old. More money is generated by new teams.
Alabama and Clemson won their conference and games in the playoffs.
IMO the 2 best teams in the country already played each other today. The irony will be neither is in if FSU wins (nor should they be based on criteria).
I know, I was saying that if it was rigged then those teams woukdnt have been in. The TV ratings got worse because the rest of the nation coukdnt have cared less.Alabama and Clemson won their conference and games in the playoffs.
@psuinhawaii I agree Hawaii. Georgia and Alabama are the 2 best teams. Iowa defense is taking it to Michigan but they can’t score.
@southern-psu-fan I was joking after Michigan kicked the field goal, first score of the game, the game was over.
Alabama may be one of the two best teams, but Texas beat em.@psuinhawaii I agree Hawaii. Georgia and Alabama are the 2 best teams. Iowa defense is taking it to Michigan but they can’t score.
