Cotton: Alabama vs. Michigan

Orange: Clemson vs. Notre Dame

Rose: Ohio State vs. Washington State

Sugar: Georgia vs. WVU

Fiesta Bowl: LSU vs. Oklahoma

Peach Bowl: UCF vs. Florida/Penn State

I was actually amazed that we still do have a shot at the peach bowl, simply because every other conference has awful losses as well. No at this point I think Florida would get the nod over us if they beat Florida State. If I was a Kentucky fan, that would leave me mighty pissed considering they beat Florida and will finish ahead of them in the standings if they win next week.

I’m only 30 miles from the peach bowl but I’ll have to drive through 3 ghettos to get there lol

After beating wisky last week, there were many confident predictions that PS would finish the season at 9-3, considering the two remaining opponents. After witnessing the "effort' that PS put forth this afternoon does anyone (except for SPF) have the same level confidence against the Terps as they had before RU game?

Agreed, we need to play much better than this to win next week

Are there still people that think Wiscy is better than loseRU or MD?

We have property on Clearwater Beach so if PSU goes to the Outback Bowl I'll most likely be there.

So much for WVU, I read the score wrong at first I thought they had won. It looks like they lost to Oklahoma State.

That may just open up another spot, if Oklahoma beats WVU next week and then wins the Big 12, the Big 12 only get one spot

I don't believe Wiscy is better than MD. I do believe that very few teams in the country are worse than loseRU but you wouldn't know it by the way we played today.

Not sure why you're struggling , I like this new format.

Maybe a good idea would be to quote whoever you are responding to. That way there's no confusion, everyone knows which post is responding to which.

Just a suggestion,

See you there! I have a home on LBK and I just booked my flight to for the holidays.  If they make the Peach Bowl, I will probably go to that one as well!

How is the Red Tide up your way?  We got destroyed down here and it just the beach again several days ago.

I haven't been down to Clearwater since the end of Sept. I was down for the Steelers Monday night game on the 25th(?)and stayed for a little over a week, not sure of the exact date. The red tide had rolled in for a couple days before I got there but was gone by the time I had arrived. Seems like it had stayed south of the bay for most of the summer but from what I heard and read it was pretty brutal down your way.

So you guys are still getting hit? I just talked on the phone today to a relative of mine that lives down there and they didn't mention it.

P.S. I love Longboat Key ! In fact I love the entire Gulf Coast. Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with red tide.

I was down in August and it looked like an atomic bomb went off in the Sarasota Bay.....dead fish everywhere and the smell from the tide and fish was just plain nasty. Went down late September, the smell was much improved, the fish where cleaned up and then it hit again and pretty much wiped out what ever else was still living.  Went down early November, really didn't notice the smell, but the red tide was hanging off the coast about 50 miles and then came back on shore for about a day.  Didn't smell it too much, but it made us cough when we were on the beach for the sun set.

There are NO fish to be caught where I am located.  I have been fishing near the end of the AMI near the Manatee River and the water is clear and I have done pretty well.  Last weekend, the Red Tide showed up again and it was just enough to irritate your eyes and make it uncomfortable.  The only problem I have now is that a family just bought across from me and they have a Go Blue Michigan emblem on their boat.  I have a Penn State one on my boat too, but their is MUCH bigger! LOL Guess I will need to have another one added over the winter.

Yes, the Gulf Coast is beautiful. I am hoping to retire and live there full time in the next 10 years.

I suggested that a long time ago, even on the old forums.  You never know who a given post is in response to.

And only a little over a half hour drive from the airport and Raymond James Stadium.

Then why don't you take the 50 mile route?

Isnt there an airport in Clearwater/St Pete, although Ive never used it, assuming its small and flights are limited..but the Tampa airport is fine by me, well organized...and  a few yrs back, my flight home being at nite, I attended a Yanks game at Steinbrenner field, and went right past Raymond James..If memory serves, I made  a left right after it, and used one of the small lots closer to Yanks field..Another plus of the area..
