The greatest ever…period!! And this was a 2012 article he’s won 3 more lol
Call me when he actually does anything without the greatest player in NFL history on his roster. Still waiting to see his "genius" level coaching without a guy named Brady.
Belicheck is an arrogant SOB and I’m glad he got his ears kicked in. Seven straight possessions, seven straight TDs by Josh Allen and the Bills. I remember a few years ago Belicheck ran the score up on a desperately undermanned Washington team and after the game Belicheck said, If you don’t like it, stop it.” Karma Bill. Karma.
@roaminglion last year you said he needs to make the playoffs without Brady and he did with a rookie QB. Losing on the road in the playoffs in the NFL is pretty normal and I don’t have a problem one bit the Bills ran up the score Belichick does the same thing when he can I agree with 99 100%. I wonder how many times Bill Belichick has made the playoffs with different QB’s
@southern-psu-fan Wow. Southern, I would have agreed with you, but NFL Network just said the road teams in the wild card round are 10-4 the last 3 years. I’m very surprised by that.
He made the playoffs with a rookie QB Roam, that is doing something, this is the NFL man. Navylion, don’t you start any rumors I’m a Pats fan 😂
No it's not, pleanty of coaches have done that. Making the playoffs with a rookie is not some rare feat. So no, I am not giving the "genius level intellect" credit for doing something others have done recently.
Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, Connor Cook, AJ McCarron, Russell Wilson, RG III, Ben Roeslisberger, and Andrew Luck are all QBs that went to the playoffs as rookies. It's not some amazing thing.
Again, I am not saying he is a bad coach. I am saying the people fauning over him dismiss the fact that in 9+ years as a head coach without Brady his record is average at best. He isnt some great strategizer, he isnt a genius, he simply had the greatest player to ever throw a ball on his team.

No, I said he needs to at least win a playoff game. This isnt some rant about him sucking as a coach, it's about the perception that he's "the best ever" when he litterally can't win playoff games without Brady.
I'd say Bill can take getting the score ran up on him; that defensive wasn't ready to play from play #1.
There's been a few coaches with exceptional QBs/teams who haven't won the Super Bowl.
IMO, the exceptional HCs put the whole package together, e.g. players, coaches and schemes; that separates Bill from most HCs.
Only when Brady is on his team apparently. Funny how Arians was able to put it all together when Brady became a Buc.
Arians is a pretty damn good coach, look at his overall record. Yeah, picking up Brady and pulling all the pieces together at the same time IMO is a trait of an exceptional HC. And sometimes you need a little extra that that one player gives you to get over the hump. I'd like to see'em get another this year and go for three next year.
Does Brady make Tomlin, Reid, or a host of other coaches better, I'd like to think so but I have my doubts with some; not because of Brady but the whole scheme of things, even ownership. Can you see TB playing under some of the other owners and being as successful? IDK.
On the other hand, IMO, what Brady does that most QBs don't, is give the hope and confidence to the rest of the Team that they are gonna win or damn well have a straight up chance of winning when it's not looking good. That is unmeasurable in leadership trait and outcome; that to me separates Brady from everybody else; all the coach has to do is get out of the way.
Fact is that Brady and BB came together at the right time, right place and right situation; per ass speculation for that length of success to be cast on TB and any other HC tenure. It doesn't happen till it happens.
Belechik is 71-79 without Brady. 1-2 in the playoffs. This is why I don't consider Belechik "The best ever". Because his record without Brady isn't average, it gets most coaches fired.
In 1 year Brady won more playoff games than Belechik has even played in without him in 8+ seasons.
Rumor has it, Belichik tried it out, but he only got taller.
While we're at it, Dallas got flagged 14 times playing the 49ers! 14! 4 more and they would have had enough for a golf course. I guess coming up a little short, lines up with their sub-par performance.
