At this juncture and in my opinion it has to be Pat Fitzgerald. To be in the Big title game and how he started, that is some coaching. He typically gets so much out of players not on the same athletic level as the Michigan’s, OSU, PSU and Wisconsin. A close second would be Purdue’s Brohm, what a job taking over a fast declining program. I really respect his decision to stay at Purdue, a sign that he cares about the kids he coaches and commitment to recruits.
I know they aren't going to give it to Frost, as Nebraska was 4-8... but if you watched Nebraska all year you could see what an amazing coaching job he really did. Team was like night and day from game 1 to game 12.
I agree with you that Fitzgerald will most likey receive the award. Deserving for sure.
From the first game to last game Nebraska’s offense was the most improved offense I seen all year. Defense needs work but they just might be some good days in Lincoln in the future something I didn’t think could happen.
