I believe Texas A&M got the shaft as well. We’ll roam we did beat Michigan and win 4 straight games taking some momentum over to next year that’s pretty good considering the way the season started. We need to get even with Michigan and Ohio St on wins. 

Hope Nick puts a hurtin' on ND and embarrasses the sheet out of Kelly.  Teach them to stay on the porch and let the big dawgs play. 

@rip.  The A&M players are pissed and says the scam committee is a joke of course we’ve all known this since 2016. The A&M players said only a few teams outside the SEC could compete playing in the SEC and that the mediocre teams in the SEC would dominate most conferences. We know exactly how the players feel at Texas A&M. If you connect the dots I think they’re  saying Ohio st and ND get favoritism and they’re probably right?

@psujoe: LOL....just stop.  Cinn is NOT a better team than ND.  And that's coming from someone that isnt a ND fan.  Cinn strength of schedule was 81st whereas ND's was 54th.  There may be a more deserving team than ND to make the dance but it sure as hell isnt Cinn.

@tsuga  Cincinnati is a lightweight but I do believe Texas A&M is better than ND. They need to stop ranking these lightweight teams and stop acting like they have a chance to get in the playoffs because it ain’t going to happen. I understand Cincinnati frustration because in their minds they think since they are ranked they have a chance and it’s deceiving. Cincinnati is a good team for their level of play but they don’t belong in the playoffs.

None of it matters until they change it to 8 teams and all the conference winners get in.  It’s set up for favoritism from the start.

@southern-psu-fan: I hear ya brother.  Texas A&M is 1-1 against top 10 teams as is ND.  A&M's schedule is ranked the 14th toughest according to the Sagarin rankings.  Not that that is is the end all and be all to college rankings, but it is very telling.

Power5 conference winners, highest ranked group of 5 and 2 at large

@lionbacker99. 99, if we had a system where the power 5 conference champs got in the playoffs I would be ok with a team like Cincinnati gettin in if they’re undefeated just to see how they stack up but you can’t leave ND and Texas A&M out and put Cincinnati in when they don’t play the competition every week that ND and the SEC plays. LOL Leave just leave it at 4 because if they do it your way nothing changes, it would be P5 champs and 3 at large SEC teams every year.

Because it's BS that you think a group of 5 needs to be undefeated to get in. How many teams go undefeated in a normal year?

Of all years to do something different, this was the year.  They could have easily expanded this to 6 teams and called it the day.  Put Cincy and Coastal Carolina in.  Like I said all along, this season was a SHT Show and it doesn't really matter who wins it all! You give two long shot teams a chance and that would shut them all up for awhile!  

Good Grief!  This is what happens when you get a bunch of grown drunk men trying to make decisions! LOL

PS:  Just walked around Lake Pinchot today.  Deer trails everywhere in the snow and saw about 4 or 5 deer. Maybe all doe, but couldn't see them all that well.  It is really thick up there now. Heading up there next week with my muzzle-loader. We fish that lake for Stripers late at night and we have seen quite a few rack buck on our way home early in the morning.  Never hunted it before, so going to give it a try!
