The problem with NIL is you don't want to waste it all on 1 position because you want good competitionI like Grunk too but I also like QB’s being pushed for playing time. If Grunk Leaves because another QB transfers in then let him leave I’m sick of the DA shit that went on with James Franklin. Ain’t no position safe the best man plays. We’re 6-6 right now we need competition at every position. As I said in the post above I’m not convinced Becht or Pribula can beat Grunk out but I still want competition.
In this age of $20 million per year I don't think it's monetarily feasible to have 2 highly skilled/highly paid QBs on your roster.

The day Penn St and Wisconsin was playing for the big 10 title all he did was talk about Ohio State and Michigan and cheerlead for both teams to make the playoffs over Penn St and Wisconsin and the scam committee did what he said and we won the big 10 and beat Ohio State on the field but they still did what that shithead Jim Delany said and took Ohio State….talk about crooked 😂

I really don’t want a mediocre QB that has one year of eligibility. The only way you can bring him back is if you have some sort of agreement for Grunk to stay. I’d take Becht over Pribula because he’s familiar with the coaches and system.
There are much better QB's in the portal than Pribula...I don't think they need to bring anybody in...I am satisfied with the QB room as it stands now...I let Grunk develop...They got another highly regarded kid behind him plus a couple of new recruits coming in...Put that NIL money to better use to fill other holes and gaps...

Beau and Rocco both have 1 year. Seems Beau would be a lower option for MC. While emotionally we like Grunk because he is not DA and won 3 games it should be noted that his claimed 'upside' is unknown. He beat three poor teams with primarily a run game and a simple play action passing game. If Grunk is not interested in being backup, competing or waiting a year hen he is not a MC fit. Then we develop another backup...

I understand that Southern but it is unlikely you get him and Rocco and I'd bet Rocco 10:1 over Beau (not my opinion on skills, just relationships). So Beau would just be testing his $$$ at that point.

He’s obviously afraid of competition or he wouldn’t have transferred out. It’s sad if he does come back because it will mean he thinks he’s going to step in and be the starter no matter what.
