Should Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Washington win it seems that we will be going to a NY6 bowl game. The committee did indeed drop 2 loss Washington State behind us, which was the lynch-pin for us getting in.

Based on these rankings, if the aforementioned teams win it looks like the bowls are:

Orange: #1 Alabama vs. #4 Oklahoma
Cotton: #2 Clemson vs. #3 Notre Dame
Rose: Ohio State vs. Washington
Sugar: Georgia vs. Michigan
Peach: Penn State vs. Florida/LSU
Fiesta: UCF vs. LSU/FLorida

Well then I hope Alabama beats Georgia. Man I hate pulling for the dawgs lol. I will pull for Georgia if they have a chance to win the NC because my son and daddy love Georgia. If it puts a smile on their face it makes me happy. I still don’t like ‘em thought lol

As a Yellow Jacket fan I'd expect nothing less 😁

Roam, I am still hoping for the Citrus Bowl!!  Honestly, Orlando vs Atlanta?  Sarasota Bay vs Lake Alatoona for fishing? The only good thing Atlanta has going for us PSU fans is the Varsity.....however, I still like the Red Rabbit at Clark's Ferry bridge better!  And playing NY days vs 12/29 is better too....IMO.

The Peach Bowl just doesn't excite me and I think more fans will make the Orlando trip vs Atlanta.

Regardless, after this season, anywhere above 50 and no rain is my ultimate pick!!

Red Rabbit is still there? We used to go past it on the way to Grandma's, back in the late 60's, early 70s'. At least I think it's the same place.

Correction to my earlier post... Should things go chalk we will most likely miss the NY6 bowls and go to the Citrus Bowl. My mistake was not realizing the Sugar Bowl is required to have a Big 12 vs. SEC matchup. I though they were allowed to deviate should teams fall outside the top 12, but they aren't. So should Oklahoma win the Big 12, Texas will head to the Sugar Bowl:

Orange: #1 Alabama vs. #4 Oklahoma

Cotton: #2 Clemson vs. #3 Notre Dame

Rose: Ohio State vs. Washington

Sugar: Georgia vs. Texas

Fiesta: UCF vs. LSU

Peach: Florida vs. Michigan

Southern, how do you see PSU against LSU or Florida?

I think we stack up good against both teams. Both teams are average at QB which is good for us. Stack the line and make the QB beat us just like we did against Wisconsin and Maryland. We’ll probably get one of them teams

The way the rankings worked out, and the fact that the Big 12 gets an auto bid into the Sugar Bowl means we probably won't be facing either of them. Both LSU and Florida look to be going to the NY6.

It's most likely Kentucky or Mississippi State.

I’d rather play miss st Roam especially since Moorhead is there. What do you think?

I think the Miss State vs Penn State would have much more National attention than a PSU vs Kentucky for obvious reasons.  Not sure I want Moorehead having the chance to play and beat THIS Penn State team since he was the OC last season. But, I also think Moorehead is a solid guy and a win would be more for his personal use than anything....like recruiting and program building.

I am not sure what impact playing in the Peach Bowl vs the Citrus bowl would do for PSU, but I am still hoping for the Citrus Bowl.  I know it's not a NY6 bowl, but I think the location is much more inviting for the fans than Atlanta is.  I am going to either one, but New Years Eve with Micky and the Tower of Terror get's my vote!!!

Go State!!!

The Peach Bowl is in that AMAZING new stadium, what a great building that is! However I think you are right, I'd probably rather that Citrus and think Kentucky would be a good matchup for us.

Ironically the Citrus would have us playing on New Year's Day, while the Peach Bowl (A "New Year's Six" Bowl) will be played on December 29th. LMAO
