That was a news report about barcodes on the back of uniforms at a spring game. I believe UCF was the school doing it, could be others as well. AFAIK this is not being considered for actual games at all.
Maybe they can put $$ on to indicate the NIL level the kid reached.
Neither my phone, nor I, am smart enough for bar codes. And I don't want to see them on the backs of PSU jerseys. Now, get off my grass!

We can probably get transmitters in each helmet and do geo-coordinates. Our blocking would be funny.
Add accelerometers for impact force. Instead of replays for using the helmet we can just suspend them for excessive deceleration.
