See that Franklin took appropriate action for Antonio's unsportsmanlike conduct in the MSU game.  He suspended him for the Minnie game!  Tough love, but you need to teach these kids (young adults?) a lesson when needed!  I'm sure JoePa is smiling.

Better than other coaches... I still remember times when Urban would suspend players from games, but it was the game after the upcoming one. The next game was always against FCS schools or other cupcakes, while he couldn't suspend them for the big game!

I like that Franklin doesn't care what game it is. Minnesota? Benched! Rose Bowl? Benched! They actually learn discipline from it, no one is special or above the team.

You are so full of it. I love how you compare coaches, as if Franklin is the only coach with fair discipline during important games.  Hands down,  if I were the coach,  pack your bags and go to another school.

Who said only? I specifically stated Urban Meyer, but somehow you made it like I said Franklin was the only coach in the NCAA who does this. Nice try, you're such a troll.

If you were the coach I seriously doubt you would have any players to discipline.

Be nice! Niccy has shown time and again, that he has a reading comprehension problem and makes up his own narrative if need be.

Seems appropriate to me anything less than the first half would have been inappropriate.  I don't think the 'transfer portal' would be appropriate for a first offence but I haven't done any searches of precedent but I'd expect PSU be 75th percentile or better and it would be 'next game'.

NCAA does have rules unlike the NFL.

I'm glad you agree that JF's discipline was fair.  It must really upset you that JF not only talks the talk, he backs it up with his actions.

Success with honor lives in HV.

@been-there-ii

I will do that.  Did the old T-man tell you what happened to my grandmother??  I wasnt aware that he posted anything but I'm sure he won't mind me sharing with his Nittany Lion buds.

My grandmother suffered a stroke back in September.  Grandpa pretty much kept a 24 hour vigil on her and refused to have her admitted in assisted living so he brought her home and is caring for her pretty much by himself with some assistance from friends and family.  My Grandmother is recovering nicely and as she so aptly put it, "I'm ready to kick his ass all the way back to the woods myself".

Just to give you guys some idea as to how committed he is to his wife....he hasnt picked up his rifle to hunt moose or bear this year.  Saturday is the start of their deer season and I doubt he'll go out for that either.

He and I watched a couple of games together and ALL the family is heading up there for a few weeks in November to hang out with them and spend T-Giving together.  We're all going to be watching the PSU/OSU game.

I'm up here right now so I'll pass your sentiments on to him.  He has asked in the past how things are going with you guys so I know he misses the interaction that y'all had. I did suggest that he jump in on a game thread some Saturday just to say "hello" but he said "I havent been on all year and we're undefeated, why would I want to jinx it now?"  Anyway, thanks for thinking of him, that'll mean a lot to him.

He did mention that he was passing down the role of forum A-hole to me.

Cheers

Thanks 'Dawg. No he didn't, but I picked up on some things you were saying that led me to believe he was busy caring for your Grandmother.

haha You can tell him I broke my back, but he doesn't get that story until Mrs. T kicks his ass. Oh and please post pic or video when it does happen.

Good luck Sat, make sure you shoot one from his fav stand. ; D
