7 days, I thought it was supposed to be 14 days if somebody come down with the virus? We just got to learn and live with it that’s what I do and I’m out here every day but I do my best to do what Dr Fauci says. We might as well just deal with it just try and be as safe as possible.

Not surprising, it was bound to happen and won't be the last.

@southern-psu-fan.Its my understanding, southern, the big 10 "sit out" period after contracting the virus is 21 days  Thus with the late start, the extended sit out period, (why 21 I have no idea), and  no off days, the big 10 has created a situation they could have  a real mess on their hands, much moreso than anyone else..and possibly an aborted season..

With the current direction we are going don't be surprised if college sports is canceled before season ends. Looks like we will be in the same situation throughout 2021 and possibility of 2022.

Should be a 14 day sit with no further signs or symptoms. No sense in retesting afterwards as much as folks want to get a negative result before proceeding because of the potential for a residual positive even though person is no longer contagious. I'd say team just being cautious. Also testing may not show positive until after 72 hours of exposure; domino effect.

@exesuwarrior95 college students are some of the most healthiest people we have in this country especially athletes. Protect the elderly and sick everybody else needs to move on and do what you do. Be smart and wear your mask and social distance when possible in other words listen to Dr Fauci. These dang truck driver out here don’t wear a mask pissed me off especially when it’s on the doors when you walk in these truck stops. They should turn ‘em around and make them get a mask.
