Numbers confirm what we all witness: what a sh*tshow. Explosivity metrics worst since Donovan Days. Red Zone Efficiency worst since Donovan Days. Offensive Efficiency worst since Donovan Days. The lone bright spot was PSU didn't turn it over as much as they did in 2020. In almost every stat and quation in this article, Penn State was a better offensive team in 2020 than 2021. Would have called you a damn liar if you suggested that happening back in August.

Excellent post and interesting read...The bottom line is when you can't get a 1 yard when it's 3rd or 4th and 1 running the football consistently you got problems...Their redzone problems were a direct result of their inability to run the football...Franklin is a smart guy...He knows he needs to get that offensive line fixed or he will no longer be the head coach at Penn State in 2023...

It’s going to cost a lot of money to fire Franklin.
