What are you guys using for TV ? Roku? You tube TV ?  Seems like many are dumping cable, keeping the internet to stream other types of service. Just received letter about 2025 upgrade to fiber optic which means an extra charge for the receiver.

There's a streaming package coming this year from Fox, Disney, and WB which is mainly for sports. I'm most likely getting that for football season along with Redzone. Saves a few bucks over the regular TV service packages with channels I never watch.

As for TV, I get all my networks over-the-air with an antenna hooked up to a SiliconDust receiver. That lets me connect it to my NAS with Plex on it, so I can DVR whatever shows I want. From there I just stream what I want to watch on a Roku. I also cycle through the services to watch what I want, then drop it so I'm not paying multiples at the same time. The two I keep for all the time is Disney+ for the kiddos (came with my cell phone package) and Max.

Lol. This is too much for me to digest at the moment.  I have some knowledge and understanding of Roku, You tube. Now it's NAS and plex. It sucks when you have only one provider in your area..I thought about a satellite. I'm not sure how that would work out for me.  Surrounded by tree cover and farmlands.

@forum-titan Farmland, not a problem. Trees, problem, but only if it's in the direction they have to orient the receiver dish.

I thought about it.  I'd have to put a concrete pad in. I've been procrastinating and putting off a change. It's insanity what they're charging now for internet and cable. You don't want to know the price.

lol Oh, I know the price. And yep, you want the dish at ground level, so when you get a wet sticky snow, you can go out and wipe it off. May not e a problem for you, as you're not in the lake effect zone. Haven't have to go clean it off this winter, but normally the snow blocks the signal one or twice a winter. Not a big problem, just a PITA to get dressed and go clean it off while it's snowing' & blowin'/

Man my Bowflex went out. I had that thing 10 years. I bought the Bowflex treadmill 10 and it’s got a screen on it that we can steam Netflix and a few other things on it. I’ll just listen to my music on the phone but my wife will use it. I hope this treadmill 10 holds up as good as the tread climber did. Man I loved that machine. Hopefully I can watch sports on it if I take time to learn how to work it 😂
