One last point...All I heard last year was how terrible the WR's were...Well we had a kid who left and is tearing up the SEC right now...So it is quite obvious that talent isn't the issue here when it comes to the WR's...The QB for Lambert-Smith ain't having trouble getting him the ball this season so why couldn't Allar get him the ball last season? Lots of questions for me regarding all of this...

That kid played one SEC team who has a terrible defense. So it's a bit early to say he's tearing up the conference.

He is doing well

The kid has almost as many yards as our 3 guys that transferred in and he has done it against superior competition. At this point in time there shouldn’t even be an argument about who the issue is in our passing game. I’m worried about what this season is going to do to WR and QB recruiting in the future as Recruiting analysts have stated for years that how PSU handles Allar will have an impact for years to come

It's the deep ball, no one scared of Allar going deep. Apparently that is even what he told the defense last year when we played OSU.

I will say this... it's good Harrison is doing well. He is talented, but the other WRs who left aren't even starting, let alone playing well wherever they went.

@roaminglion Ross is supposed to be our big play deep threat guy and we need to get him involved in the offense or we’re in trouble.

Someone needs to tell Allar that he can just rip it downfield and doesn't have to loft it up so darn high. Just fire that pigskin in there, stop trying to be so perfect with it

DA also overthrows deep balls.

Yes he does, mainly because he alters his passing style. Everything short to medium are practically frozen ropes, but then deep balls are full blow soft rainbows. He has got to strat ripping it downfield and stop this lofty cloud BS.

To be fair we’re just trying to keep it real here about what we see happening on the field we all know DA is trying his best and this young man wants to win just as bad as we all do, maybe more. Ain’t a player out there that’s tries any harder than DA to get the wins. Keeping it real is tough talk sometimes but that’s what makes this fun. We’re his biggest cheerleaders right here and we want him to succeed. We have visitors in here every now and then so I’m just saying.

I'm sure the same can be said for Jimmy.  However, call it moxie, or whatever other intangible you want to use to describe someone who delivers in the clutch, I don't think Drew or Jimmy have "IT".  Just my observation fwiw.

@rip  Penn St is big boy football. You either get it done or you don’t. Some times there’s consequences if you don’t RIP. 😂

Absolutely the way it should be, Southern!  If we don't git 'er done this year, and the QB is the reason, that consequence will take care of itself.  Unfortunately, I think Jimmy is immune to any consequences.  For whatever reason, the buck doesn't seem to stop with him.

Years ago we used to call those things intangibles...All I am going to say is there are no excuses for this year...Everything is there to win it all...It says something about the strength of this team when your weakest link and biggest question mark is your Senior 5* QB who is coming into his 3rd year as your starter...This is the deepest and most talented Penn State team as I have seen in a long time...No excuses here...This team shouldn't lose a game this season...We are going to learn all we need to know about this ballclub in a couple of weeks...
