It could be we watch all the Penn State games and we see every play so we notice all the problems we have on offense. Other teams have the same problem rather on offense or defense and we only see the final score of these top 10 teams. If these teams fans see our scores they probably think we’re unstoppable because we’ve actually drilled every team we’ve played we just had to struggle to do it but the other teams probably did too. Just watching the last minute of the Tennessee/Georgia game I believe we can best both teams. Oregon struggled against NW today and NW really stinks. Texas looked like crap and Ohio St ain’t looking great right now they’re struggling with Ohio. Ole Miss and Arkansas both stink on defense we’d give both these teams a beatdown. LSU and Florida are average teams and ND lost to Miami. This is just NiL college football today baby we’ll see in 2 weeks!

How bout dem Yellow Jackets homer 😂 looking at their schedule they could go 11-1 but man the defense can’t stop a bad cold but they do try.

My pick to win the national championship remains as Alabama.

What makes you think Oregon struggled vs NW? Say what you want about NW but a lot of people have that marked as a trap game and potential loss for us. I listened to Oregon vs NW on the radio today and it wasn’t a struggle for them. Actually Oregons schedule has been far from tough so far but they’ve played 25 freshman and have destroyed everyone they’ve played.

I’m starting to think they may be better than last year and might be the best team in the B1G.

I didn’t watch the game I’m going on what the final score was. Tulane also beat NW. my point is most fans don’t watch the games they assume whatever their perception is on a team is what the score ends up being. I don’t believe we’re good enough at QB to beat Oregon. DA aint a QB that can win in a shootout. Hope I’m wrong

They have a good defense too. If I had to make a prediction today for the whiteout I’d say we don’t have the offense to hang with them and Oregon wins by at least 14. But I’ll wait to make my official prediction till after next weeks games.

Personally I have no idea what to think, as I feel we have just sleepwalked themrough the first 3 weeks on offense.

Hopefully I am right...

Oregon ain't gonna score 35 pts. on this defense...Alabama beat Wisconsin at home today with Wisconsin having to use their backup QB so don't get too excited about that...How good is Texas really? Notre Dame just got beat and are 0-2...The way I see it is Penn State just needs to win their football games and this will take care of itself...I honestly think we will be Oregon by 2 scores...I am sticking with that prediction...We should have beat them last year when they had a 5th or 6th year veteran QB...This QB they have ain't no Gabriel that is for sure...I even think we should beat Ohio State...It ain't like they are beating down the door of The University of Ohio...

Agree that no team is looking any better than us but I have to believe some will put it together.  Will it be DA?  Oregon did not look good, They gave up rushing yards even though NW has no passing game.

But some have won a big game, that has some meaning.

Right now there are a lot of #5 teams, no 1-4?

@the-funeral-director  i agree FD, Oregon ain’t going to run all over our defense but they’ll get 24 to 28 points can we put up that many points is the question? If a team can hold Oregon under 24 points that’s a good day.

if Harrison Wallace lll keeps this up and the season Lambert Smith had last year the problem might be the WR’s coach. Not only can he not coach he can’t see the talent we have on the team.

Well the dude might can coach at some level but it seems he’s in over his head at Penn State. At this level of college football it ain’t easy.

I don't believe Oregon scores 28 against this defense in a white out game...I just think Penn State is the better team and will win by 2 scores that night...

The issue with Allar is the deep ball. I don’t know why. or who is coaching him, but for sone reason he always tries to loft it way too much.

He has got a great arm, and when he is throwing short/medium passes he puts good zip on it. However, deep passes he just tries to loft and place it and I don't know why. Just rip it down the field like you do on the medium passes, don't change your throwing style.

It's like someone told him that he throws too hard on the long ones and they need to be softer. No idea why

He has 2 issues as far as I am concerned...The first is he misses a lot of open guys...WIDE OPEN guys while trying to fit in tough throws to the primary receiver...Along with the air time on his deep ball...Nobody questions his God given talent...He has elite talent...He checks off all the boxes...If I was the OC I would run the 2 minute offense as my base offense with him...I don't know if it is him or the coaching staff...None of us do because we aren't in the meetings and practices...He could be a tough kid to coach...The coaches may be the issue by not prepping this kid properly both with his mechanics and film study...I know I am not wild about the play calling but it was 3 cupcakes and I am sure they were running very vanilla formations and schemes...The rubber will hit the road in 2 weeks and we are going to find out in a couple of weeks what we have here...

One last point...All I heard last year was how terrible the WR's were...Well we had a kid who left and is tearing up the SEC right now...So it is quite obvious that talent isn't the issue here when it comes to the WR's...The QB for Lambert-Smith ain't having trouble getting him the ball this season so why couldn't Allar get him the ball last season? Lots of questions for me regarding all of this...

That kid played one SEC team who has a terrible defense. So it's a bit early to say he's tearing up the conference.

He is doing well

Halftime score is O 24 (INT run back score, blown coverage score, 98 yard drive, end of half FG off INY)   P 3; (no run game, 2 INTs, D makes a fumble recovery on the O 40 and results in a 35 FG).

Do you start the second half with DA or go with the "Grunk"?

The kid has almost as many yards as our 3 guys that transferred in and he has done it against superior competition.
At this point in time there shouldn’t even be an argument about who the issue is in our passing game.
