NY state is letting students into the Carrier Dome for athletic events starting today. Of course they waited until after the last home B-ball game of the season, but at least there is some progress for college sports spectators.
I heard on the news that we all should have the vaccine by the end of may. I’ve also heard the end year I guess we’ll have to wait and see but regardless progress is being made and that’s good news.
@southern-psu-fan Yah, one week they say they're behind, next week they're early. See how it all play out.

It was it should be available to all by May, not that everyone would have it. They hopt to approach the herd immunity threshold of70-80% by end of May
@roaminglion. I hope so roam I’m ready to get this crap behind us and get back to normal bidness as my man Dusty Rhodes would say 😂
@roaminglion Think there's going to be enough people want to get the vaccine w/ having to resort to a dart gun?
Yeah, I think so... especially since now the J&J vaccine is only one shot. I think more people are willing to get it now than ever before
@roaminglion Let's hope. Still a whole lot of mistrust in this area. My, sort of, father in law considers himself a devout Catholic. Pope says get the shot. John Leary, a self proclaimed profit from Rochester NY, who says Jesus, God and Mary talk to him every day, says don't get the shot. Guess which one he's listening to! It's pretty amazing.
Tomorrow is coming!
John Leary is a whacko not advocated by the Catholic Church. He also broadcasts his political beliefs quite freely in the face of what should be seperation of church and state. This Church has enough problems and doesn't need his dribblings.
@lakerie. I’m as a biggest JESUS freak out there and he ain’t told me not to take the shot I just believe he puts experts like Dr Fauci in my path to take his advice. Brother, I always listen to the experts especially if it’s very important. I also believe I’ll come out ahead by listening to the experts. Lake, I love stealing ideas and advice from the experts and running with it, it makes me look much smarter than I really am lol
I and likely many on this forum think you are pretty smart Southern. Spirituality is a noble thing but there faux evangalists out there that confuse the gullable for their personal gain.
Well then, let me make you look REALLY smart. Mt Nittany is an expert!!! Take Penn State and $100 to make the playoffs this coming season. My goodness, you will look like an Einstein in Vegas and you will come out $100 ahead!
Go State!
@mtnittanylion. I’m very stubborn sometimes my brother and in football I’m a disciple of the greatest Joe Paterno and I played for the great wayman Sellers so there’s where I go to get my football knowledge lol
Syrexcuse football tix go on sale today; buy now, get a refund later, if they won't let you in. Syr fans are a fair weather lot though. After last season, they will probably sell all the tickets that they can and still have more than enough room for social distancing. Almost as bad as Pitt trying to fill up Heinz Field.
I promise, once my company allows us to travel again, I will take you out to the Varsity! I fly in an out of Hatfield several times a year.
NO Joke! I am hearing they are hoping for 107K at this years White Out game. Season opener Season Ticket holders only, and then each week they add so many General Public Tickets. I am not sure which game will be the White Out....Auburn or Michigan. I would assume the Michigan game since it falls so late in the year which would give them plenty of time to get to full capacity.
Again, my sources are not that credible, but they hear the rumors around town and are somewhat reliable. I would assume what they are hearing is more based on a hypothetical situation vs a real moving plan....which I would assume is being discussed early on.
GO STATE!
