That team in 2000 was a fighter they fought until there was no more time left on the clock. After the Purdue game I remember drew Breeze telling the reporter, man Penn States defense is stout and I was one of the best defenses he played against. Dang man that was 20 years ago time show does fly baby. I believe we beat Indiana that year to with Randal El as their QB. That defense was good we just struggled at QB.

2004 our defense was unreal, one of the best we've ever had. No one scored more than 21 points on us all year and our offense was pitiful.
Imagine only giving up and average of 15 points a game with the #113 worst offense in the NCAA. They were unbelievable.
@roaminglion. Yes it was roam. 04 and 05 our defense was brutal really the same players. I believe jarred Odrick and Sean Lee were true freshmen in 05 but they did get some playing time. I can’t quite remember but I think Lee and Odrick were freshmen in 05 maybe it was 04

Dan Connor was a freshman on the 2004 team, Sean Lee was part of the 2005 class.
Sometimes fairytales come true.
