Apparently this isn't going away, as the NCAA now allows Junior College athletes full eligibility for 4 or 5 years even if they played 3 in JC. Because why not, right?
We can all use 8 years in school.

What were the excuses Oregon and Ohio State got to have their QB’s for their 6th year this year….so they can win and not have to take a step back like other teams?
