I knew today would be a hard fought game but we got the win. Sometimes games on the road can be tough regardless of who you’re playing and how the other team might have played last week. Tennessee getting that butt kicked by Florida lol. We’ll take this win and get better for next week. We owe Iowa a butt kicking and I hope we stomp ‘em if we can get ‘em down. Just win baby
I'm sure Franklin and Diaz will fix a few things.
It is disappointing to not be able to run the ball when the defense tries to dictate you can't run but alas. Still seems we should do better but IL is a real team. Good practice for the offense.
I was worried about the defense in the 1st quarter but the DB's played good cover and caught the ball. Without the turnovers that is a more stressful game but as it was Franklin never had to open the playbook and take risks. Maybe middle throws are still a risk?
The bottom 3/4ths of the B10 was kind of disappointing but WV looked good.
