10-2 but I’m feeling a little better about 11-1 I’m thinking we can beat Oregon at home in the whiteout. If our OC, QB and WR’s get it together we will win it all. 2 more weeks my good friends and we get some Penn State football and hopefully 17 weeks of Penn St football…how sweet it is baby😊🇺🇸🍺🏈
I'm thinking 11-1. I have a feeling we beat Oregon in the Whiteout and beat OSU because our D coordinator will be carrying a grudge! Unfortunately, James being James, I think we loose one we shouldn't. Maybe UCLA or Nebraska. Like I said before, I'm easy, so I see us regrouping in the big dance and winning the Natty!!
I think that the addition of Jim Knowles and his crew will be beneficial for the offense as well as the defense. #15 is an intelligent and incredibly talented young man who plays with an admirable intensity and desire. However, he has seemed to be hesitant during critical times throughout his career. My assumption is that his hesitancy was due to confusion caused by the actions of the opponents. My hope is that Jim knowles and his crew provide information that will help #15, the other players and the offensive coaches plan, prepare and adapt. My guess is 11 and 1 with a couple of games closer than they should be. But they could run the table if they stay healthy and focused.
With all the hype and expectations 10-2 in the regular season would be a disappointment IMO. 10-2 in the regular season also won’t silence the JF critics nor will going 1-1 in the playoffs.
12-0, NIL has ruined the nucleus of these teams. Guys used to have 4 years together, Michigan retained and brought back, won it all. Ohio State retained and brought back, won it all. This is the new formula, keep your great players together as long as you can, singleton and Kaytron are essentially NFL running backs competing in college. Drew could have easily been a first rounder in that bum draft class last year. 12-0.
Drew will reportedly make "at least" $3 million for his final season in college according to On3's Pete Nakos. I wonder what the total tab amounted to for retaining the rest of the "scholar athletes" that make up our returning key players!

Some sources site financial problems. Others argue because Penn State isn't aggressive enough in the NIL market compared to other programs.
Closure of 7 campuses due in 2026-2027. It's one huge slap across the face to the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I’m confused on how even the heavyweights can pay 3 or 4 QB’s on the team this kind of money. The NFL has 1 QB making big money and only have 53 players on a roster. We just lost a 2027 QB to Michigan and it probably was over NIL money and the dude ain’t played a snap yet. The funeral director usually knows his stuff and he’s all for this NIL money whoever pays the most wins but how can over a 100 teams keep up with all this money and all the teams have 85 players? Somebody help me 😂
NFL has a salary cap, and a veteran starting QB in the NFL is making 40 to 50 million per year. No team in college is paying that much for a full roster, let alone 4 QBs... yet.I’m confused on how even the heavyweights can pay 3 or 4 QB’s on the team this kind of money. Most I've heard a college spending on NIL is 25 million. And that's all booster money
@roaminglion can the ncaa put a cap on teams at 25 million? If so why haven’t they done it? I like having all teams playing by the same rules and teams like Texas can raise more money than a team like Ga Tech? Hope I’m explained correctly lol
lol Like the NCAA can do anything about anything. If our BOT wouldn't have rolled over, nothing much would have come of the Sandusky crimes.
If they put a cap on NIL, certain teams go right back to bagmen and giving away Dodge Chargers, like they're on the Oprah show.
Absolutely keyrect, BT. This thing (college? football) is in such a mess right now, I really don't think it can be fixed!
@been-there-ii need to tighten down on the Dodge Chargers and punish teams taking scholarships and NIL money. If the punishment is severe enough teams most likely won’t cheat.
@southern-psu-fan No, the NCAA can't cap NIL. It technically has nothing to do with playing football. We all know that's BS, but it is what it is.
At Iowa and at UCLA scares me and are definitely possible trap games.
@psujoe Iowa ain’t good enough on offense and UCLA ain’t good enough on defense to beat us. Oregon and Ohio State are the only 2 teams I see that can beat us. We have struggled against Nebraska when we played ‘em.
I don't want any type of salary cap of any kind in this thing...All of you know darn well what's gonna happen if they do that...The SEC is crying for a salary cap because they can't compete financially with the B1G schools and they know damn well enough this is the end for them...Now everybody can buy their players Dodge Chargers just not tricky Nicky Saban...Finebaum himself said the SEC can't compete with the B1G money...This is shaking out just the way I thought it would...Oregon, Texas, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and USC are always going to have the dollars to be in on any player...
I would take that Homer...That will give them a top 4 playoff seed...This has to be the year...
