4 star DT Cole Brevard and 3 star OL RJ Adams.   A good day!  Never made it to the game nor the stream.  Been a tough 2019. Had back surgery in January and emergency gallbladder surgery last Friday.  All is good though. We Are!

Thanks Murray. You can never have too many OL and DL players. Any other possibilities before the weekend is over? Best of luck with your recovery. Hang in there.

Thanks guys.  I’m doing well.  I don’t see anyone else committing today but you never know.  I will say this, the freshmen Cain and Ellis WILL start this year. Watching the game now. They’re special kids

That's great ! I never got a chance to watch the replay on BTN. What else is going on? How did they look? Any news on the touching incident?

Cain looked like a seasoned vet. However, I feel like Franklin has a little Paterno in him and will go with the older guys. He certainly seemed to last year with a few guys when it was obvious the guys sitting behind them were better. We will see. Ellis looks like a huge athletic CB. He’ll get a chance to learn behind some good upperclassman but he’ll be tough to keep off the field also.

Statement about Paterno is as far off as I’ve seen you.  We have seen tons of freshmen play over older guys.  Trend will continue. Especially with the new redshirt rules. No way he keeps Cain and Ellis off the field

Farmer and Juwan Johnson. I rest my case.

I get what you are saying Murray. We have seen a lot of young guys in Franklin’s time here play. Some were out of necessity due to the diminished roster he inherited. Some were because they were just much better. I think Cain and Ellis will play, but I don’t see them starting over Slade and Reid/TCF. At least not yet. Maybe by the end of the season? We will see. If they are head and shoulders above their teammates then they should start.

Murray, Have you heard anything about Ohio St DT Malik Barrow? He has been plagued by injuries and is grad transferring. I have read rumors other places that PSU may be a consideration? Was he there yesterday?

I’d also add Hack as an older player Franklin stubbornly stuck with way too long.

Why would you want to start Ellis over Reid at any point? Reid is our best CB and a future NFL draft pick, he showed late last year that he was back to his pre-ACL form.

Ellis is good, but let's settle down a bit LOL

You CAN have 4 DBs in at once.  Ellis will play a lot. And won’t miss a bet. He’s better than Reid was as a freshman. But wasn’t saying he replace Reid.  By start, let’s replace with play a whole lot early
