read an article on espn that Kirk Herby said it was the best college football team of all time. That was a good team but the 86 Miami team was better IMO. Only the greatest Joe Paterno could’ve come up with a game plan to beat that team. I’m going with the 86 Canes team, who’s yours? Had our 05 team gone undefeated it would be up there. Man, that was a great team.
I'll have to go with the 86 Lions because they beat the 86 "Canes !!

I think the 1994 team was the best team Penn State ever had. Just my opinion and I know some of those ballclubs in the 60's and early 70's were really good but I think the 94 team was the best Penn State team I have ever seen....However this young group has an opportunity to surpass them with all of their speed and talent...
1995 Nebraska was the most dominate team I've ever seen. They averaged over 50 points a game, and beat everyone by more than 3 TDs. Their schedule wasn't cupcakes either, as they beat four top 10 teams that year. They just destroyed everyone.

That team was such a lost opportunity, to this day I still hate the Rose Bowl for acting all high and mighty... basically keeping us from playing Nebraska so we could go and beat up Oregon.
The Rose Bowl denied us the National Championship that year. Period. I don't care what anyone else says, or what conspiracy theories they want to drone on about... had we played against Nebraska instead of Oregon I believe we'd be champs. When it came down to it, the voters looked at who each team played:
Penn State played zero Top 10 teams, and no one on our schedule had less than 4 losses.
Nebraska played two Top 10 teams, and 3 teams with less than 4 losses
Bar none, our schedule and the Rose Bowl gave it to Nebraska.
Michigan in 1997? Had the benefit of playing 4 teams with less than 4 losses, and a Top 10 team in Washington State in the Bowl game. Had we been able to play a 1 loss team in the Rose Bowl, I think we might have split the NC as well. Unfortunately 1994 was a WAY down year for the Pac-12 where 1997 was a good year for them.
Another thing that helped Michigan is they played 7 ranked teams during the year. Not all of them would up ranked at the end, but the perception was there that they had a very good schedule. Unfortunately for us, we only played 3 ranked teams during the year.
The sad reality is the 1994 team was one of the best in the history of college football, but never got the chance to prove it. Most experts agree on this, there isn't a "best ever" list out there that I don't see the 1994 Lions mentioned on it.
You said enough when you said Michigan and Nebraska 😁just deal with it Roam. Had it been USC or ND instead of Michigan being undefeated they’d got the same favoritism
Just look at when there was a split NC and you’ll see the favoritism and you’ll see they ain’t going to let one of their favorites get the shaft hell they even GIVE Colorado a share in 1990 when everybody knows that was BS lol. Think about it Roam, look what’s happening to Ohio St NCAR and USC in all the trouble they been in lately? Nothing and ain’t nothing going to happen. NCAR is the king of college basketball so it falls under the same BS. Some teams get punished and some don’t it’s that simple.

I literally explained in my post why Michigan split and we didn't, and you actually go on to say "look at split championships"
??????????????
You then say "even Colorado split" when in no way, shape, or form is Colorado some sort of favored NCAA team. Just STOP.

Here's a list of school with the most MAJOR violations: Oklahoma (8), Florida State (7), Auburn (7), Georgia (7), Miami (6), USC (6). All those are teams you've said are "favorites"of the NCAA at various points, and would never get punished. Of course, facts say otherwise because they are among the most punished schools in the NCAA.
Just STOP.
In 1994 if Penn State got 5 downs to win a game that would be the first excuse why they didn’t get a share of the NC and it gets ignored when Colorado did it. The scumbags loved the weak 8 and you know it.
Ga Tech knocked off the #1 team had a better record and beat Nebraska worse than Colorado did and didn’t get 5 downs to win a game and these same people shared the NC. It can’t be justified sharing the NC in 1990 . They wanted Colorado to share it so they give to ‘em. At least Colorado and Nebraska are garbage now. Both teams have been exposed why else have they stunk for the last 10 to 15 years?

It's laughable that you are trying to make Colorado some NCAA beloved program, like they are so admired and get preferential treatment.
Sometime sh*t happens. It doesn't mean shady people behind the scenes conspired to do it. Colorado was a POS program who in 1990 had been ranked in the top 25 a grand total of 9 years since football was invented. Their bowl record was 4-14, no one cared about them.
To even argue that the NCAA or pollsters had some affinity towards them is ridiculous.
I’m not Propping Colorado up they have stunk most of the time but there was a sympathy for them back in 1990 and the voters shared the NC because of it and that proves they don’t vote fair but hey life ain’t always fair.
BTW... the lady who was sentenced to a couple of weeks in prison has nothing to do with USC. Different actress.
I thought she was the mother of one of the kids that paid dirty money for her kid to go to USC? The cheating scandal, right?

No she's not, as I said you are thinking of a different person. The lady who just got sentenced paid for someone to alter her daughter's SAT scores. Again, nothing to do with USC.
My bad I thought all of it was the cheating scandal at USC
Nope, most of it has nothing to do with USC.
What you are thinking of is the actress who lied about her daughter being a crew athlete so she could get into USC. That lady actually pleaded not guilty, so I hope they throw her arrogant a$$ in jail for a while. if she owned up to it I may have been more sympathetic.
Probably not though 😂😂😂
