Per an internet search.....

Hingle McCringleberry is the 2012 Heisman-winning tight end out of Penn State University, selected No. 1 overall by the Rhinos in the 2016 NFL Draft. Roam....He's also a fictitious character, made up by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, if you hadn't noticed or guessed.

I have to ask, but did you not get the joke? Yes... I know all about the skit, that's why I said the name. The skit was a comedic satire of athlete names becoming crazy. Which when I saw the recruits name you mentioned it made me think of it.

Since Key has refrenced it on many occasions, and at PSU games when he was at College Gameday, I thought everyine knew the name. Obviously you had never seen the skit, but thanks for resesrching it! Lol

@roaminglion   I am familiar with Keegan-Michael Key and the fact that he is a Penn State graduate.  I have seen his portrayal of James Franklin but prior to my internet search, I was not familiar with any of his comedy.  So when I saw "Hingle McKringleberry" in your post, I was not aware of its connection to Key.  Yes, Rayquawndis Mitchell has an usual and difficult name to pronounce.  Just call him "RayQ".  That is his nickname since his teammates cannot pronounce it either (or Rhoades for that matter)....
