A Josh Reaves tip-in with one second to go gave Penn State an 84-82 win against No. 13 West Virginia in a charity exhibition today. Penn State, playing without Mike Watkins, was led by freshman guard Myles Dread with 23 points. Lamarr Stevens added 20 points and frosh guard Rasir Bolton contributed 15 points. Good boards work by John Harrar.
A comment from the West Virginia sports board "The Smoking Musket" said the following:

<li id="nCkuAO">Penn State is a likely NCAA tournament team. Despite losing some key players from their NIT championship team, Penn State looked like one of the stronger teams WVU will play until they hit BIG XII play in January.
A nice comment but this is based on one game and a charity event game at that. Time will tell but still a good start for Penn State B-Ball.

Big win for our team against a top fifteen opponent on the road albeit an exhibition.
