Unfreaking believable. If Penn State somehow wins it all, I will never hear the end of declining to take a $100 bet to win $18,000 on Penn State winning the B10 tournament....
Ok, I wrestled all my life and coached the local elementary team until about 5 or 6 years ago. I have been to one Penn State wrestling match in my life and I have watched them twice this year on TV....vs Iowa and the Big10 finals.
With that said, I haven't missed more than 2 or 3 Penn State Bball games all year. I have been following them for a LONG time. Even went to the last NIT finals in MSG when they beat Utah. I am telling you, this team can win it all!!! Playing at a neutral site is favoring them in this tournament. Purdue is going to be a tough game, but they hung with them in their season game. This shooting 30% in the first half and 62% in the second half is mind boggling. If they can some how get to 40% or so in the first half tomorrow night, they can take Purdue out. Sessoms will be the key tomorrow night along with Harrar. They are going to make 3 pointers, but Harrar needs to score 10 under the bucket and Sessoms needs to do what Sessoms does....drive, score and pop several 3 pointers.
They are fun to watch and I am glad they won these first two games. It would be crazy see them win this all and get the automatic bid. Wishful thinking, but not too far fetched!! You could possibly be out $18K!
