Answer: Back in high school, John Harrar was named a football all-star in his area of PA. The all-star team was sponsored by Delco and the players were called "Delco All-Stars". The Penn State basketball color commentator decided to extend the Delco name to Harrar's play at Penn State and decide to refer to him as "Delco Johnny"....
