And as luck would have it, I missed this game. But the stats tell the entire story....
Penn State rallied from a 14-point deficit in the final 13-plus minutes to stun the 19th-ranked Spartans, 62-58, on Tuesday night at Bryce Jordan Center.
Penn State was behind most of the game but Seth Lundy's 3-pointer after the media timeout capped an 11-0 second half run that pulled the Nittany Lions within 3 points (43-40) with 10:11 to go. And Penn State never gave up.
And Penn State then close it out, never giving up their momentum.
A big night for Seth Lundy (17 points, 5 critical three pointers) and John Harrar (16 points and 16 critical rebounds).
Penn State fouled a lot (14 for the game) but fouls didn't get out of hand. And Penn State won the turnover battle in this game, something they have not done in a while.
Probably the best game by Penn State all season...
