Let me just say that I am very pleased with the forum you’ve created. For those that would like to join in, how does this site get noticed from the outside? It would be nice to see more posters and it would appear that there were some regulars that didn’t get the word after Pennlive went dark.

Lake,

Thank you very much. I am glad you are pleased and are finding the forum to be an enjoyable experience.

My goal is to continue to improve this site as well as grow its audience. I have some other projects that I am working on now that have taken some of my time away from this but once those are complete I plan to dedicate more time to the forum, though it will always be a side hobby for me. Though I call it a hobby it is certainly one I will be putting a tremendous amount of effort into seeing succeed.

Eventually, I'd like to have more articles on the blog portion of the site that spur conversation and encourages sharing on various social media platforms.  Hopefully, this will cause site traffic to increase, forum membership to increase, and ultimately conversations to increase. As that happens the site will slowly move up the search engines where it will eventually be seen when searching for Penn State football. At least that is my goal and hope for the site.

I hope this helps explain sort of my goals and plans for the site and if you have any additional questions, comments, suggestions feel free to pass them along. This is a Penn State Fan site and I will always listen to the wants and needs of the fan.

Cave

I was regularly posting a link to this website in the comments section at Pennlive but haven't been doing it lately. I guess I better get back to doing it.

Lake do you live in Erie or somewhere else on the lake? I was up there this past weekend steelhead fishing.

It was tough fishing, a lot of streams were muddy when we got there Thursday and then it rained just enough in the afternoon and evening to make everything else muddy on Friday. We were there 3 days but because of the conditions the only full day I put in was Saturday and my total for the trip was 6 or 7 landed with the largest being a 26 inch female. Most of the fish seemed to be in the lower parts of streams or close to the mouths.

I do live close to the lake, it’s been a curse and a joy. Lake Erie is great for fishing and water sports but keeps the area cold and snowy in the winter.  Unfortunately the past week has been some of the wettest on record. Let me know next time you make the trip, I’ll buy you a beer if you are so inclined. I owe billmurray an outing on the lake.

A bad day fishing still beats a good day at work.
