19 or 20 wins with quarterfinals or better in the BTT should be enough to get us to the show. Would love to see more than that though, we have the talent to beat anyone in the BT
Penn State won 74-52 with a BIG second half by the team. All 5 starter in double figures. Good game.
Nice wins over Maryland and Illinois in the last two games. Penn State is 18-9 right now and ranked #3 in the NIT bracket lead by SMU. We have 4 games left: Ohio State (winnable but I am guessing a loss), Purdue (winnable as well but I am guessing a loss), Nebraska (need to win this one.....the Cornhuskers are a #1 ranked NIT team in one of the 4 brackets), and Michigan (winnable and a game we must win).
Hoping to end 20-11 for the regular season, With a good showing in the BTT, we will be in the NIT. I don't see us getting into the NCAA tournament unless we beat Ohio State (again) and Purdue. If that happens, then I think we could get a bid for the NCAA tournament....
