Good for him. I still think we should have given him a shot.
Rhoads has reached the NCAA tournament more times in the past 4 years than Penn State has in the last 20 years. I am sure Fisher will do well at Temple, but I think you have to go with a guy that has a proven track record in this situation. Rhoads is going pick up some players that will keep Penn State relevant. Maybe not next season, but I expect to see them back in the March Madness the season after.
@mtnittanylion He also took over the best program in the A10, that already had a track record of making the NCAA tournament.
VCU had made 7 straight tournament apperances when he took over.
I think Rhodes is a great hire. I'm just sayin' I would have been ok with Fisher - IMO he desrved a shot.
