@roaminglion I guess I live in a bubble because I thought most college kids would be having fun. I can see some kids getting stressed out with the school work and being depressed sometimes being away from home but I had no idea the numbers were that high. Of coarse the kids are pretty smart or they wouldn’t be in college so the school work is probably easy for them it’s everyday life they struggle with. You never know what people are going through. This does give me something else to pray about.

Yeah, most students would be depressed, have anxiety when their student loans are 100k or greater for a bachelor's degree.

College kids coming into the workplace today are as worthless as ever. They’re nothing but a bunch of entitled, spoiled brats that have no desire to work or know anything about actually working and earning their pay. Sadly the kids coming up behind them are even worse.
There isn’t a shortage of workers but there is a shortage of people that are willing to earn a living.

In my earlier days outta of high school I dug footers, set concrete forms, busted old sidewalks with rebar in and then loaded a truck with wheel barrows full of dirt and chunks of concrete. Digging holes, simple use of measuring tapes, rotary lasers, transits, placing and finishing concrete, shoveling snow isn’t being taught or learned anymore. Those mentioned items along with Fixing lawnmowers, changing oil are tasks that some younger generations void at all costs.

Not only all that but they’re coming out of colleges with these alleged degrees and suck at what they allegedly went to school for. How do you graduate from Penn State with an engineering degree and have no mechanical aptitude at all?
Two things I’ve noticed they all seem to excel at is extra long bathroom breaks and taking advantage of anything free.
