I'd argue that kids should be watching things that don't have LGBTQ or Traditional values. Just keep sexual content out of it, I don't really need my kids learning about how straight or gay people handle their business in cartoons. I agree with both of y’all. Keep shit in your bedroom and stay out of other people’s bedroom. This goes for everybody. Keep kids away from anything sexual.
You all have the right to keep your own children away from anything that you think will harm them. Actually that is kind of your job. However, it is not your job to keep other people's children away from things. It's very similar to religion. Your religion can forbid you from doing things. It cannot and should not prohibit anyone else from doing anything.
@psugrad81 I understand and kind of agree with you but when little kids are at school getting brainwashed by a nut job teacher that’s teaching boys can become girls it’s hard to keep our kids safe. How bout no sex or gender talk until high school that way we can let teenagers decide on what to believe. Little kids deceive easily but teenagers don’t in these situations.
Do you have any specific examples of little kids at school getting brainwashed by a nut job teacher? Yeah, wait until high school to teach sex ed because no one has ever gotten pregnant or caught any venereal diseases before then.
@psugrad81 I don’t believe it’s possible for me to prove anything. I can’t prove we’ve landed on the moon but I believe we did. All you can go on is what you see or hear on the news unless you witness something and even then some folks won’t believe you. It should be the parents talking about the birds and the bees.
The government has always passed laws to specifically keep content away from kids for various reasons. So no, it's not strictly the parents job to keep things away from kids in a wide open marketplace like you suggest, we collectively agree on keeping certain content away from children in many cases by law.You all have the right to keep your own children away from anything that you think will harm them. That said, I would agree we've started taking it to the extreme by making up ridiculous situations that aren't happening... or spreading rumors about widespread brainwashing to "protect" kids from things.
99% of teachers , cops and Ice agents mean well and are great people but there’s bad apples in every basket. I didn’t mean to sound like it was a large scale because it isn’t. It’s not fair but all 3 of these professional jobs have black eyes because of the 1%.

Chicken little got hit on the head with an acorn. He then ran around telling everyone that the sky was falling. I believe in the end he got eaten by a fox. Basically it's like taking a little unimportant thing (read trans) and making a big deal out of it. I don't want to get political here but It appears to me that may be a certain party's and a certain news network's entire platform.
By the way today the acorn seems to be trans. It used to be gay marriage, welfare cheats, illegal aliens, communists in the movie industry... I can't even remember all but there are more. Now some of these may be problems but are best solved by the people tasked with solving them.

@psugrad81 I have heard of many cases of teachers telling kids they were born the wrong sex, do I know of any personally no but that doesn't mean it is not happening. Through my school days including Penn State I never knew what my teachers thought about politics.
@cohappy By the way, have you heard how many of those kids went on to transitioning to another sex? I wonder how many football coaches told one or more of their players that they play like girls? Does that count? Where did you hear this, Fox rumors and innuendos?
@psugrad81 every news station out there reports what they want you to hear. I hear things on Fox that I don’t hear on NPR and I’ve heard things on NPR that don’t see on Fox. They’re all guilty 81 of reporting the news they want you to see, it’s not just Fox News. I like the podcast with Steven A smith as well with Chris Croumo they also have bill O’reilly on sometimes.
