Penn State started off day one a little rocky but bounced back and sit in second place behind Ohio State. We need a few OSU losses to help us out.

Need those OSU losses badly. Lee going down first round hurt bad. Need a few pins from the meat of the group also
There is still a lot of time and wrestling to come but it just seems the stars did not align for the Nittany Lions this year starting with the sudden and perplexing transfer of Nick Suriano to Rutgers. Next came Nolf’s injury and if anything else, hampers his ability to score bonus points. Then there is Kuhn’s transfer to PSU which on the outset seemed positive but for reasons of red tape did not allow him to develop in to the potential champion caliber he is. On the other side you have OSU that can do nothing wrong (so far) this year with a great pick up at 141#r McKinney from Stanford though transfer Campbell from Pitt not so much. I’m a bit of a homer but it seems they licked out in seeding, bracket placements and upsets that fell their way. All in all though, the PSU team is wrestling well and the guys that are supposed to win are winning and the weights with question marks are where they are supposed to be, just earlier than expected but with opportunity to make up some ground. Anyway, I love this time of year and have watched every minute ESPN had to offer.
Pfletcher and Hayes both go down today.
Upset special: Chance over Imar.
Book it!! Actually, if you've been following all my wrestling predictions, you'll keep your money in your wallet.
In the immortal words of the brilliant Homer Simpson when responding to Krusty the Klown’s 1984 Olympic burger promotion....” I like those odds”.
Jordan loses today too.
And.......my second upset special.........Nato loses in the semis!!
1 OSU 51
2 Iowa 36
3 UM. 31.5
4. Psu 28.5
5. Ncst 28
Keener gets pinned and is done
ZAIN! Tech fall! Lee gets a win!
YES! Hayes of OSU goes down! Big neededloss for us. Tsuga nailed that one
It’s about time, he should have lost to Amine except that he got a bad case of the stupids in the end.
NOLF WITH THE WIN OVER KEMERER! Could face Jordan in semis if Jordan wins. Hopefully no.
It’s good that my wife is at work today leaving me alone to watch the blood round, otherwise I would get all excited, go for a high crotch, in to a scramble where I fan her heals then come out the back door. She would then smile and concede the 2.
Go Joseph.....Go Chance!
Lmao.
Geez Lake, do you need a cigarette?
Joseph looks very tentative this weekend. IMAR looks real good
YEAH GREAT OT WIN BY VINCENZO
OSU up 66-55.5 right now. Hall on the mat
She will come home and wonder why the wierd look on my face then proceed to flee the mat.
BIG round as Hall gets the win and OSU Jordan goes down.
Lujan wrestled like he didn’t want to be embarrassed, hard to pick up bonus points like that.
Joseph wrestled on the edge like that too but still made it to the finals for a NC. I hope it’s a repeat for him.
Nickal wins but so does Martin.
Now 73.3 - 65.5 OSU with shak on the mat and nevills in the hole
