To me, the NIL deals prove to me that the rhetoric the kids and their supporters were spewing about "the players" being the reason college football fans show up is a bunch of bunk. This is and always has been about the schools, not the players. You could create a semi-pro league tomorrow and these kids wouldn't be making anything compares to what the schools and their platform provides.

It's so backwards, the best professionals in the sport aren't making near what some kids are making in college. For any kids to say it's them, and not the school, is hilarious. If Arch Manning was playing on some St. Louis semi-pro team, I can guarantee you he's not getting paid 3.4 million for being a backup. That's Texas football all the way.

$25 bucks a game and a free hoagie is what he would get around these parts, lol!

I loved MROB but it’s about the uniform he wore for me. The Helmets, jerseys, Pants and black shoes baby.

Thumbs up x100

I’ve had this debate more than a few times. The “brand” sales not the players. I’ll pass on the Harrisburg Hersheys with great high school players that now nobody cares about or even knows who they are since they are not going to the pride of the university you cheer for. Give me the 3 star or any other guys playing for the university brand and I guarantee it fills the stadium.
