Just released their OC. A move they definitely needed. Wonder who they will get
Billy, who is UN?
William,
You are in violation of the rules of the forum and I would ask that you would please stick to them or risk being banned. You are welcome to post here even if your opinions are not shared by the majority. However, impersonating another member, taunting members and stalking members will not be permitted. Please change your profile image and nickname or risk being banned from the forums.
I would like nothing more than to have you continue to be a part of the community but I won't tolerate this kind of behavior for the good of all the forum members.
Your question to Mr. Murry would be just as legitimate and more likely to receive an answer without the impersonations.
Thank you for your timely cooperation.

Bill, I assume you mean Michigan. They hAve Jim McIlwain on staff. Maybe he gets a shot at OC?
because billmurray is actually bill murray?
If the real Bill Murray joins the forum then I'd ask the same of him. The rule is not to impersonate forum members.
Thank you. I appreciate you changing the picture.
so using the name William is not allowed? I'm quite sure I did not use the real photo of anyone on this forum
Murray I still haven’t figured out what jim mcllain did on offense at Florida for Harbaugh to want this guy running his offense? Maybe y’all saw something I didn’t?
LB99 not Murray lol^^^^
Southern, I don’t think McElwain would get the job based on what he did at UF as HC. He would probably get the job based on what he did at Bama as OC. That’s IF he gets it. Just speculation at this point.
yeah, not sure that's the answer for them. Hey Cave, time to hit the bye bye button. Someone here just to harass.
I’m not saying that is the answer, but what he did as Bama OC was pretty impressive, specifically unseated Urban and the Gators as the team to beat in the SEC. McElwain’s offense shredded Florida’s vaunted D in the 2009 SEC championship game and they never looked back. It’s looking more and more like Andrew Luck’s development as a top QB at Stanford was more a result of then QB coach David Shaw than Harbaugh.
I disagree LB99, Stanford was garbage when Harbaugh took over and Harbaugh backed it up winning at Sanfran, just my opinion but Stanford was way better when Harbaugh was coaching there. Shaw has done a good job though but Harbaugh done a great job, remember Harbaugh was running up the score on USC when Pete Carroll was there and them UCS teams were some of the greatest college teams of all time when Pete was there.
Southern, I never said Harbaugh wasn’t a good coach. I think he is a really good coach. I said Shaw may have had more to do with Luck’s development than Harbaugh. As for your argument that Stanford isn’t as good under Shaw, he is 73-22 as Stanford HC. He has won 3 PAC 12 titles and was PAC 12 coach of the year 4 times. He also led Stanford to 3 straight BCS bowl games in his first 3 seasons there. He has a winning record in bowl games at Stanford( Harbaugh did not). He is a very highly respected HC and he is frequently mentioned as being on a very short wish list of college coaches wanted by NFL teams with coaching vacancies. You can disagree if you want, but he is very good. Harbaugh is good as well, but after much success at the 49ers he was shown the door. Says a lot about his personality.
Shaw took over a 12-1, Orange Bowl champ that was ranked #4 in the nation. Harbaugh took over a team that was 1-11, without a winning season since 2001.
The comparison of seasons is ridiculous considering what each coach inherited. Shaw also has never lost less than 2 games. Harbaugh went 12-1 in his final year.
I'm much more impressed with what Harbaugh accomplished at Stanford than Shaw, considering what each started with. That said, I do consider Shaw a very good coach as well.
I get your point, and appreciate your opinion. Let’s look at it this way, Harbaugh took over a Michigan team that had several recruiting classes in the top 15, with one even being top 5, and hasn’t finished above 3rd in the B1G east. He’s had 2 #1 overall recruits in the country on the roster with Peppers and Gary. People forget that Hoke was a very good recruiter and Harbaugh’s first 2 classes were ranked very high. He’s a big 0-3 vs Ohio St and 1-2 vs Sparty. If he doesn’t produce this year, and loses to Ohio St, Sparty, and PSU again, he will feel the heat, especially with the salary he is stealing. Let’s stop anointing him as Bo Schembechler ( who never won a national title).
You are right, Shaw hasn’t lost less than 2 games a year. But, he is averaging 10 or more wins per year also. Not too shabby.
