There’s something fundamentally wrong with our football program if a coordinator accepts a lateral move to a lesser program. If he does go I’d have to say those defenders that are currently 50/50 about staying will probably leave too

IMO I think it's a bit delusional to say Clemson is a "lesser program". They've won 2 national titles and been to multiple CFPs in the past 10 years. In what universe are they "less than"?
I also assume he's getting paid more, as assistant coaches down south all make bank.
