Just read the staff coach the QB to throw short on deep balls to hopefully get an interference call vs interception. Where does a reception fit in?
Now no reason to bark at DA when the deep ball is short.

Probably a good strategy on 3rd and long. you can likely find DB's hat rarely look back. attack that DB with a receiver that knows the strategy and you have 15 yards. Still not a TD but a fresh set of downs. Maybe the receiver is a possession receiver and he actually catches it for 30. It's about winning not a beauty contest. Jump back into a DB that is trying to catch you and it is PI. Practice it.
