i have Alabama on the outside looking in. I’m not sold on Florida St or Washington and I’m quite confident that Texas and Alabama can beat ‘em and I’m very confident we can beat ‘em. We only rank the top 5 teams here because this is where the big dawgs play. This was a tough top 5.

You constantly tell us the B1G sucks but you rank 3 of those schools in the top 5. As amazing as you think the ACC is (it sucks btw) you’d think there’d be at least one of those schools in the top 4.
@psujoe I believe the big 10is the second best conference from top to bottom. I don’t like the big 10 conference because of the way they did Penn St and all the favoritism Michigan and Ohio State get. As for the ACC I don’t think it’s that great this year and I don’t believe Florida St can beat any of the teams I have in the top 5 they’re not good enough on offense or defense to be top 5. We lost to Ohio St but that doesn’t mean Florida St and Washington can beat us all it means is we lost to Ohio St on the road. That’s what I keep trying to tell ya brother, we got a dam good football team we just might not be as good as Ohio St but we may have won that game if we were at home. This is the true top 5 homer not the who’s got the best record top 5 when Florida St ain’t played nobody and neither has Washington. We’d kick both of their ass baby. There’s only a few teams that can beat us homer and imo it’s only the top 3 teams of the true top 5.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Florida State... because of how they told the NCAA to go pound sand when they tried to make them retire their mascot and nickname. @roaminglion I loved the great Bobby Bowden and I always loved when he pounded Nebraska. That 10 year run Florida St had was as good as it gets.

Roam - Penn State needs to beat somebody! It's been a while, and I don't think Utah counts! I mean they need to beat Maryland badly and dispose of Michigan in two weeks. Times up for this with this coaching staff! I think we have ALL given them enough time to make something happen!!

What coach out there do you want that Penn St could possibly get that’s better than James Franklin? Lot of people wants James Franklin out but nobody can come up with a better coach to replace him? You fire a coach that’s winning Rose, Cotton, fiesta bowls and did win the big 10 championship you better have a good plan or you’ll be Nebraska. I believe we’re right around the top 5 but we’re stuck in a division that’s got 2 top 5 teams in it. We’ve made our bed with the QB for next year so 11-2 will probably be as good as it’s going to get and that’s better than 95% of the teams out there. We can’t beat Michigan and Ohio St unless we have great QB play and I said that before this season started. That doesn’t mean the kid can’t step up and play a great game against Michigan and get the win. This ain’t on Allar he’s doing the best he can with the issues on the OL and WR this is on James Franklin for recruiting him.

Nick Saban, Coach Day, Kirby, Dabo, Harbaugh ain’t going to come to Penn St. The teams these guys coach are the only teams out there that can beat us. F LSU, Ole Miss, ND, Oregon, Washington and the rest, they ain’t beating us. I do remember Kicking Washington’s ass in the fiesta bowl and all I can go on is what happen when we did play ‘em.
IMO its all good with the coaching, expectable respectable (10-2) results and you don't have to fret over deciding to go hunting or fishing on particular game days ????, throw your gear in the truck and take off.
One more thing. Michigan can’t beat Ohio St without the right QB. They have the right QB right now that’s why they’ve beat Ohio St the last 2 years. Ohio St has better players. If Georgia or Alabama played in the big 10 every year they would’ve dominate them like they do now. It’s a different ballgame when you’re in a conference with a team like Alabama or Ohio St

Now if we win out the scan CFP committee can say Penn St was to far back in the rankings and that’s why we have them at #5 assuming we win out. In this shit show we got going on, we have to be undefeated to get in.
